Technical Relevance
Laboratory facilities require a more specialized construction and technical delivery approach than standard education buildings.
The International Balkan University Laboratories project required coordinated execution across structural works, façade, interior adaptation, flooring, MEP installations, electrical systems, HVAC, ventilation, fire safety, accessibility and laboratory-specific functional requirements.
For laboratory-based academic facilities, the reliability of technical systems, controlled circulation, durable finishes, safe operation and long-term usability are essential. These requirements make laboratory projects more complex than standard classroom or administrative spaces.
The successful completion of this project demonstrates EACOM’s capability to deliver specialized institutional facilities through an integrated turnkey approach, combining civil, architectural and technical execution.
