Reconstruction of Shtipska Street

EACOM participated in the reconstruction of Shtipska Street in Tetovo as a subcontractor and execution partner to GRANIT A.D.

The project was implemented as part of the World Bank-supported Local Roads Connectivity Project, administered through the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of North Macedonia, with the Municipality of Tetovo as the final beneficiary.

The reconstruction addressed the condition and functionality of an important urban road connection, with the objective of improving traffic safety, driving conditions, accessibility and the long-term performance of the local road infrastructure.

Project Impact

The reconstruction of Shtipska Street provides a safer, more functional and more durable road connection for residents, businesses and road users in Tetovo.

The completed project contributes to:

Partnership and Delivery

The project demonstrates EACOM’s ability to operate effectively within complex institutional and contractual structures and to deliver specialised road construction works in coordination with an established main contractor.

EACOM worked in close cooperation with GRANIT A.D., the project supervision team, the Ministry of Transport, the Municipality of Tetovo, suppliers and other stakeholders involved in the implementation process.

The completed works were officially inspected in July 2026 in the presence of representatives of the Government, the Ministry of Transport and the Municipality of Tetovo.

Through this project, EACOM further strengthened its portfolio of successfully completed urban road and transport infrastructure works in North Macedonia.
